Louis Vuitton’s Driving Shoe Celebrates its 10th anniversary

With the wheel of fashion spinning ever faster, it may be time to invest in the classics of menswear. Cue Louis Vuitton’s driving shoe. First premiered in 2006, the leather loafer is this year celebrating it’s tenth anniversary. Made of supple leathers and easy to pack, the design has long been a favourite footwear choice for many a debonair traveller and its signature rubber nub sole makes this loafer less formal than other luxe brand alternatives. All leather options, which include grained mat calf, glossy patent and the 1854 founded brand’s own Taiga leather, are stitched by hand. This spring, the driving shoe dazzles in vibrant colours such as Cacao, Rubis or Indigo – or the romantically titled Outremer.
