Saint Laurent’s Latest Muse Dylan Jagger Lee

Dylan Jagger Lee not only has a cool name, a washboard stomach and a career as professional beach bum (sorry, Guitarist//Model//Surfer so says Instagram); he’s also got an enviable gene pool as the son of former Baywatch-star-turned-fashion-muse Pamela Anderson and ex Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee. Saint Laurent this week published a collection of Hedi Sliman’s first pictures of Dylan recently taken in LA on the beach as part of the creative director’s Live Diary, his ongoing photographic project chronicling the lives of rock musicians and their fans. It’s rumoured that the 18-year old model will be walking at his much-anticipated menswear and womenswear ‘Part 1’ catwalk at Hollywood’s Palladium on February 10th.

Just like an alternative, gig-loving Pied Piper, Slimane has inveigled a whole new class of music-loving muses, all of which were revealed on the brand’s social media feeds in the run up to the show (hinting at  runway inclusions), including Austin Feinstein of Slow Hollows who walked for Saint Laurent Menswear SS16 and Rex Tyler Osterkamp of the band Rexx, last seen modelling looks for the label’s Fall 2014 menswear show. Representing the female contingency is 18-year-old Clementine Creevy lead singer of Cherry Glazerr, commissioned by Hedi Slimane to write the track ‘Had Ten Dollar’ for his AW14 show, as well as newcomers to the YSL fold, Jessica, Jennifer and Micayla of Bleached who discovered their mutual love of roller skater thanks to the designer (watch the teaser below)… let’s see if he puts them in skates for the show.
