Supreme X The North Face X Jean Paul Sartre

The New York streetwear brand is shouting about its latest collaboration in a philosophical way. Emblazoned with the words ‘By Any Means Necessary’, first decreed by Jean Paul Sartre and later famously adopted by Malcolm X, the collection is a bold statement in the label’s signature Futura logo font. No doubt this range with sell-out with obligatory queues in London, New York and LA this week when it launches on the 19th of November (also online).

The collection counts the Nuptse Jacket, water-resistant with 700-fill down insulation; Mountain Pullover, an impermeable garment that is waterproof though breathable with a fully sealed shell; Base Camp Crimp Backpack; Winter Runners Gloves and the Base Camp Travel Canister (something about 840D ballistics nylon shells… sounds hardcore anyway) – all of which alloy Supreme’s urban aesthetic with TNF’s technical authority, for city dwellers as well as those hitting the slopes this year. Absolutely zilch chance of anyone having to send out a search party if you pick the yellow Nuptse either.
